Ok, explains it. DJ's play forever...

I have been to a few of my friend's raveparties, and it is interesting to see that there is such a huge difference on DJ's. At one rave a girl from Berlin, Rebekkah Aff, played, and even I got hooked. Damn she could put together a mix.

When the sun started getting up it was mostly loud bass though.

Remember you can customize the buttons. Try playing around

Besides the point, but why would you make a 7 hour long mp3?

I like it. Especially the second suggestion, as it would skip the extra step required by pressing the button.

I don't know if it is possible to a thing like this, but it would be pretty ingenious.

Just one note. It should be coupled with some kind of representation of the current volume (outside the slider in the button). It could be numbers or whatever,

Cheers

Hey.

A small issue with the miniplayer (show/hide toolbar-function).

The file tray button should be inactivated, as it is useless... And beats the purpose of the miniplayer.

The info tray slides out in a not so pretty fashion.

Great Leopard is adding features by itself. And people wonder why I spent a fortune on a mac

It works very well. Seamless integration with the rest of the app, and not some menuitem stored away somewhere.

I like it

@remain.

Haha... Alas it's late in the evening and I'm drunk and listening to ridiculously loud music... So rejoice for loud music.

But still I know tomorrow I need not loud music, but very silent music, maybe Leonard Cohen...

You are welcome.

And if you are anything like me, you'll end up posting 'I agree' remarks to a lot of posts.

Once again. colur me khaki, but where do I find the show/hide toolbar in the lates nightly?

Don't know if you want here or in trac. But the shorts for the volume behaves weird. When I push louder, the volume goes very quiet, and then behaves as expected, and opposite, when I push quieter the volume goes up and then behaves as expected.

Hadn't noticed the thing with the slider.

I kind of like, that it goes to loud, probably won't use it much though. I usually never touch it, but sometimes I want loud over nice quality.

I think remain is right about the snap thing, just below the snap is significantly quieter (less loud?) than the snap.

Color me khaki, but I thought m3u was a standard format? If I save a playlist in Cog and play it Itunes it won't work? (of course if the list included .flac I predict problems.

Don't know why I would want to though, playlists never really appealed to me. Maybe because I never know which song I want to hear next.

Going off topic on this one... It is not all open source developers who are this open and listen to the community.

I posted some feature request for an 'unnamed' open source pdf-reader, and the developer immediately deleted one and the other was just killed in his commentary. I went through some other 'closed' feature requests and it seems his way of handling requests was saying it couldn't be done and marking them as closed.

Ah the classic stop vs. pause debate... I guess with customization you could decide for yourself, I am indifferent on this one (but prefer the space=pause function)

Ive got both space and flexible space. But you mean a line to seperate the tools?

Maybe it's discontinued?

Score again for vspader, who once again shows an interest in the ideas from his community. It's cool.

Standards are standards, so I understand why you want to go with it. I just think it seems a bit 'unprofessional' to have a small icons option, when there is hardly any difference. The text-only option is arguably working as a 'hide toolbar option' I guess.

Maybe people use the app. in different ways, but I always keep it wide enough for a volume slider (last complain, I won't further argue with your decision)

I have been listening to my audiobook for an hour now, and it just keep playing nicely. And the toolbar is really pretty, I like it.

So thumbs up from me.

Hey.

Now it works fine. I am playing a (rather) small set of mp3's.

I really like the toolbar interface. Everything looks good.

I am not too keen on your volume control. I prefer the slider to be visible, as the button-thing seems to add another step to changing the volume.

The texr-only toolbar is pretty useless, as it only opens the buttons when pressed. In my opinion lose it. Or make it a hide toolbar thing.

The small icons selection also seem redundant as the difference is very small. My opinion lose it or make the standard icons bigger.

Another piece of input. It would be great to make the currently playing song more visible. I mostly use cog for audiobooks, and often the tracks are called 1, 2, 3 etc. and they are quite hard to distinguish from the not playing songs (maybe a feature request).

Overall, looks good.

Happy working

Haha. I don't even get the icon moving in the dock. All I get is a slight spasm in the dock.

No thanks, I will just message Remain, that he needs to fix my tickets, should I need it. But if it makes your life easier in any way, put me on the ship, as long as I only need to check for double posts of tickets and correct mispelled word etc.

Actually you can command-c command-v in finder with 10.5.1

I was a bit puzzled with the more-menu. Just found it yesterday. It seems to add a step to the process.
