To reproduce:
1) Have no songs in the playlist
2) Play
You will get an empty Growl notification.
The position/seek slider will become active and remain so. You can seek/change the time, but nothing will happen.
The time indicates 0:00/-0:01.
The Stop menu item is and will remain inactive.
This should be fixed as of r797. What a strange bug!

hey there..
i've fixed the tracking slider becoming active when play is pressed and the playlist is empty.
how shall i proceed to put it in the project?
i'm not familiar with sourceforge, svn and i don't know how the team works around here...
added:
i've also made the trackingslider get disabled when full stop occurs (not pause).
