Topic: Cog behavior (file format check)

Dear Author,

I'm just installed Cog and want to play my FLAC stored in my PC, then I found out Cog only check the file extension but NOT the file header, since some of the PC program will generate FLAC extension as '.FLA' without the 'C', Cog fail to recognize those files as valid FLAC.

Can you associate '.FLA' extension to FLAC? Or have an option of user to add extensions?

Thank you very much.

Rgds,
Johnson.

Re: Cog behavior (file format check)

Currently it's all done by the file extension, and only .flac is associated with flac files. You'll have to rename them, sorry.

Re: Cog behavior (file format check)

Adding the .fla extension could cause a lot of problems considering that .fla is used for Adobe Flash files as well as FLAC files.
