Problem with m3u files

In many of my album folders I have both mp3 files and one m3u file (one for each album/cd) and when I open one of those folders in Cog it often, but not always for some reason, creates two or three copies of the tracks in that specific folder. So now, instead of the 6112 tracks that should be displayed in the playlist it shows 8947 tracks and some of the copies doesn't even work.

I use Leopard 10.5.3 and Cog 0.07 (r717)

EDIT: I looked through some old bug threads and read about disabling plugins by right clicking Cog in the app folder, so I disabled the m3u plugin and it works fine now.
