Topic: Hide playlist

The Hide Playlist menu item is greyed out even when the playlist is visible on r878.

And just to make sure I am not missing something. The hide playlist menu item should correspond to the upper right toolbar button (usually hide tool bar, in Cog miniplayer button), right?

Yes. The mini player feature and the toolbar in general is still mostly incomplete.
