Question from new Cog user

Hi all, first time posting on the forum.

I recently got a MacBook and I've always used Foobar with Windows in the past. Cog seems like the best Mac equivalent for Foobar but there's one thing about it that isn't what i want and I'm wondering if there's a way to change the settings to get it to do what I want.

It seems like Cog is trying to build a permanent master playlist of everything i ever load into it, but I don't want it to do this. When i open a new file i just want it to clear whatever was in there before. I see that there is a 'Clear' command in the playlist menu and this clears whatever is in the playlist but this adds another step that I'd prefer to avoid:

1. Old song(s)
2. Go click 'Clear'
3. Open New song(s)

vs.

1. Old song(s)
2. Open New song(s), and simply have it clear the old ones out automatically.

So is there any way to tell it to do this?
