Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

I'm a COG user, because i despise itunes. I just don't like that interface. And my favourit *NIX player Amarok is not yet stable on OS X, so Cog is the best player I found far. Simple, gets the job done, and very easy to drag and drop playlists from my music collection.

Thanks!

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

I am a Cog user! smile

I use this app everyday since I have a lot CD images with cuesheet and like its simple interface.

Thank you for your work!

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

I'm a new Mac user using windows since 3.1 ! It's a nice OS but i missed some programs like Foobar2000 ; hopefully, i've discovered Cog and I can listen my music without hassle (specially spc format). Merci beaucoup !

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

I finally found out about Cog. I'm listening to a lot of hour-long mixes, and have been looking for a player that could use .cue-files as playlists. My search is over cool . Can probably burn Cog into ROM immediately - it will be loaded permanently anyway wink

Cog user since 2006...  Still the best.

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

cool iTunes for iPod support in m4a format, but cog has allowed me to indulge my Bob Dylan show obsession in flac at home.;)

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

Cog is the best player i could find for the mac - and i've tried many of them..

So i'll support this 'till the end smile

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

thank god, after switching from pc to mac the worst thing is that there is no winamp. This app is the best so far. including queing and easy playlist handling... havent done any winamp vs cog tests but i know this will be my future player keep up the good work!!!

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

I am a Cog user. Great app, thanks for putting the effort into making it real.

I wish I had some programming skills so I could aid in the development, but I hope that others are willing to keep working on the app, as to add features like:

- Multiple playlists
- Better tagging support
- Ability to show user-defined meta tag info in the playlist :-)
- Etc.

Anyways, thanks! :-)

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

Cog kicks ass...

Now if only the shuffle features wold work properly... (Album) and if it could remember whats on my ipod and not reload every time...

Other than that, perfect!

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

Using the 0.08 nightly build for a while now and very happy with it!
The only easy, small and not overloaded musicplayer for the mac in my opinion.

One little feature I would like to see is that it remembers my setting for remaining time. Every time I start Cog I have to click on the elapsed time to get my preffered setting.

Great app!!!!

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

Cog is the future foobar2000 clone for Mac!

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

Cog gives me the best sound quality of my mp3 files!
Never heard music like this!

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

Love the latest nightly build! I'd tried version 0.07 before and had some problems with it ... didn't even notice there was an updated version until I dug a bit deeper into the website.

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

After wandering around any trying foobar for Wine or Vox, I found the latest Cog the best.
At least for playing, no need to request anything already.

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

I'm a Cog user !:)

pretty, simple, fast, and it reads perfectly flac/mp3 for me,

Cog 0.07 on Os X 10.4/G3

Good job guys & thx smile

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

New Cog user here smile

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

Hello all,

Thanks for this fine piece of software!
Times have been awesome since I've started using it!

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

Nice program you have here. It's exponentially better then that Itunes trash, only wish there were more features.

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

I agree with haleakalari.

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

i have been using Cog for a couple of hours now... and I still like it! tongue

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

Err... I'm present too. But I really prefer to just sit and listen. smile

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

Much thanks to the developers, keep it up!

iTunes is great if you want software to library all your files the way iT thinks they should be organized.
For simple drag and drop playing that just works, nothing beats Cog!

Thanks for not climbing in my hard drive and snatching my file organization up.

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

Hello all:

Been using Cog for a couple of months now. I appreciate the development; lots of musical formats can be played. And to save desktop space the interface can be fairly minimized, though not as much as iTunes', which would be nice. There are some issues I am having with it, however so all is not perfect. I have posted those in the "Help" forum. If anyone has any insight they can provide, thanks in advance.

Re: *Cog Users, Sign Here*

Hi,

Just wanted to take a minute and say...yes I'm a Cog user!  I found Cog while searching for a minimalist audio player that supported FLAC and OGG as I made OS X my primary machine.  That was several years ago, and I've been happily using Cog since then, as well as turning others onto it.  I'm glad to see that there are still people using Cog.  Thank you for creating such a great player and I hope that work does continue on it, however slowly!
