Separate Prefs for Remote Volume & Track

I would like to be able to use the remote to navigate tracks in Cog, but have the volume on the remote control the system volume rather than the Cog volume. I need this for gain management reasons - I can overdrive my Apogee Duet if I run the Cog volume past 100%, so I need to adjust the level via the Duet volume (which is the system volume when the Duet is the active system output device).
