You should definitely try out version 0.06 then. The hot keys are global, and you can set them in the preferences.

So, what are the odds of having an additional hotkey?
I usually have gobs of apps open and bringing Cog to the front can be a (albeit minor) PITA. A hotkey to bring Cog to the front would be sweet (or whatever it is the kids say these days).

Hmm. Interesting idea. My "Music" key actually brings up Cog (though I have no idea what dark magic the logitech driver is doing in order to do that.).

Interesting idea. I kinda like it. I'm not sure about the technical side. I know you can bring Cog to the front, but I'm not sure if deactivating it would toggle back to the last application, or just go back to some random one.

Does hide behave correctly? If I'm in an app, activate Cog, do stuff, and then Hide Cog does it go back? If so, yeah that'd work. (Sorry, don't have a mac available atm).
