Topic: Cog incompatible with Apple USB driver

I'm trying to play FLAC files via USB to an external DAC - the Benchmark DAC1 USB.

I get all sots of problems - the songs appear to be playing but no sound comes out of DAC. If I remove and replace the usb cable, that song plays, but when I try to play another song I have to remove and replace cable again.

It all works fine via Toslink.

The DAC requires no special software - designed to work with Mac OSX and Windows using USB 1.1

I bought this DAC as I wanted to use USB - Toslink is used for another digital source.

ITunes works OK but I find it is very unreliable playing FLACS with Fluke.

Any ideas?

Re: Cog incompatible with Apple USB driver

Actually it's more for the lack of CoreAudio settings like buffer, default settings do not always work fine...
