Topic: Sample rate and output volume questions

New user here, so far very happy since my files are mostly in .flac and .wav. I have a lot of .flac that is 24/96 and 24/192. My DAC can handle any and all sample rates. How do I set COG to playback at native resolution? I don't want any sample rate conversion to take place.

Also,  when I first open COG the volume slider comes up at about 80%. When I drag the volume control all the way to the right (which I presume is 100%) it seems to hit my DAC with a little extra gain (my DAC has input LED's). Is the slider all the way right really at 0db or is it adding some extra gain?

the position the volume slider starts at is 100%, so if you take it all the way to the end it does add gain.
