Have not seen this request anywhere. Would be very useful because of its support of so many formats.

Heheh... came here because I had the crash on startup problem - solved as advised, problem was probably inside the application support/cog folder. Had to register just to say that I have been a cog user from the earliest times and love it's support of all the lossless formats and more!
