I'm not sure if it is a bug or a deliberate feature, but holding down the play/pause button on the remote does not trigger the computer sleep mode as it does normally. This is a very convenient feature if you are across the room and would be great if it was functional in addition to the cog remote capability.

I think that offers the most flexibility while also allowing the remote to change the system volume. I find I want to change the system volume quite often as I only use the remote when far away and need it louder.
