I've read that some applications will not run under Snow Leopard. Most notably, CS3.

So I wonder, will my favorite audio program work when I install Snow Leopard? Anyone here running a beta of SL and Cog successfully?

Thanks!

I am a Cog user and evangelist.

Strip it down, simplify!

Thank you so much!

To the above user (Zitz) - have you heard of RockBox for your ipod?

i have multiple drives that store my music. my ipod (rockbox), external drives, and my startup volume for peeping recent downloads from my desktop or torrent folder.

if i launch cog without having all previously used drives available, it crashes and i must delete the cog preferences in my library before i can launch it. it's so frequent i have the folder stashed in my dock, available for the few times a day i need it.

it would be nice to either fix this issue all together, or prompt upon launch that some volumes are missing and do i want to 1. plug the drive in and locate the music or 2. remove the missing songs from my playlist. or 3. create a new playlist for available media.

great thread. i got a lot to say but i'll try to stick on topic.

COG feature requests:
album artwork support

"lock playback" feature. when i am tagging tracks or creating playlists, oftentimes i double-click on accident and the song i am enjoying changes to the song i am editing. if i could lock playback to be always on or always off, i could enjoy my time editing and not get so noided out when miles davis gets cut off by ac/dc.

"export to max" would be good 'cause they already wrote a great encoder.

ok, that's off the top of my head. i will post the rest in a proper thread. thanks for a great program!
