I'm trying to play 96kHz, 16Bit Flac-files. Everything seems to work allright until I try to jump around in the song. Skipping to another song sometimes causes freeze or crash.
While playing one of the aforementioned file types, the "open file" dialog crashed (without even showing the "do you want to restart - do you want to send a report" window).
It's like "start it and don't touch it until it's finished".
Dumping the pref list, log in and log out, restarting and reinstalling didn't help. I'm using 0.06/r519.
Right now, Cog crashed upon pressing "pause".

I just bought "Three sides live" by Genesis on iTunes Store today (I loved it unconditionally, back those days on vinyl (1982) ...)

Anyway; on the track "behind the lines" Phil Collins sings "... she gave me no reason, she gave me no warning..."

And I thought by myself: "OH MY GOD:: Pretty bad (COBOL-) compilers them guys must have had those days..." ;-)

I hate the iTunes mini window -- and I can't see the point in copying iTunes neither.

Use iTunes if you please -- and hope they gonna make it support FLAC lol

Two weeks ago or so I thought I had made sure that the only Apple files Cog wouldn't read were protected aac's?!
Has my brain gone nuts (uh, I mean -- false memory implants/is this a different version of the matrix?) or has it something to do with the recent QuickTime and iTunes update?

I think the issue is of interest.
When I returned to Cog after I had listened to an album to listen to it again, Cog didn't work -- or so it seemed at last.
What had happened? I had moved the folder with the audio files in the meantime!

What I want to say is, that it could be quite a feature to signal to the user, that he's (she's of course as well...) trying to play a file with an invalid path.

What do you think?

Hi, there

"Press Key..." = "Taste dr

There is already Max, Tag and Play and -- uh well -- iTunes and SongBird.
This .app may need a couple of minor enhancements over the next releases to come -- but in general it's somewhat minimalistic and cool an .app and imho should not be overloaden with features.
