Topic: Is there a way to fix text encoding?

Hopefully the image explains my problem...

The tags of the MP3s are in Cyrillic, is there a way to make Cog show this properly? Thanks smile

A couple years ago I acquired a ton of MP3s that were tagged in Cyrillic and had the same problem -- in both Cog and iTunes, the tags showed up as garbage characters.  The solution was to use an application to convert the ID3 tags into Unicode format.  I think the app that ultimately worked for me was Unicode Rewriter, though I also tried a program called ID3Mod2.
